This portal provides 24-hour access to important information about the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Project-Based Voucher (PBV) programs, and Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV), which are administered by the State of New York through the NYS Housing Trust Fund. For example: - Applicants can start a new application for a Section 8 waitlist, or review the waitlists they've applied to and make updates to their application.
- Landlords or Property Managers can view information pertaining to issued payments, tenants, and inspections.
- Residents or participants can respond to requests for annual recertifications and securely send requested documents to their caseworker at their local housing office.

- You may apply online for Section 8 for the first time, or if you don't have an active application with the NYS Housing Trust Fund.
Registering to access your Section 8 account? - You can register to access your account if you're a landlord, participant, or applicant to the NYS Housing Trust Fund Section 8 Program.
- To register, you'll need an active NY.gov account. If you don't have one, create one at my.ny.gov.
